Role Summary/Purpose As the Automation Quality Leader, you will be responsible for coordinating process-related quality and growth initiatives including traditional QA, Agile, Six Sigma (DFSS, DMAIC, and Lean) and Innovation Processes working with the product line and functional leadership across the business. You will drive integrated business processes and documentation to facilitate productivity and global expansion. Essential Responsibilities Develop and lead the overall Quality strategy and execution plan for Automation, including curriculum development, training, project co-ordination and certifications across all global sites Lead and Leverage the combined Quality and Lean Initiatives for the Automation Business Quality Leadership includes COQ reduction actions, QMS deployment, monitoring and auditing for effectiveness, Key customer Issue management Lean Leadership includes sponsoring Lean Action Work Outs (AWO's), providing tools and best practices Develop strategies that support Automation growth and execution excellence Develop roadmap for effective utilization of Agile, Six Sigma, Lean and QA resources including resource allocation, project selection and prioritization, and certification (DMAIC and DFSS) Assess need and deploy resources to various Automation plant sites and suppliers, supplementing local teams, for short run, quick improvements, and subsequent monitoring Design and develop an integrated and dynamic Quality Management System for Automation Engage Automation quality team in driving business improvements in Inquiry to Order (ITO), customer service, project management, and New Product Introduction (NPI) effectiveness Lead customer quality focus including Net Promoter Score (NPS), issue resolution, and analysis of warranty and other COQ issues. Own COQ budget responsibility Qualifications/Requirements Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline At least five years of experience in Quality, in roles of increasingly responsibility Additional Eligibility Qualifications GE will only employ those who are legally authorized to work.
