This is a project position that is expected to end by September 31, 2013. The Washington Utilities and Transportation Commission (UTC) is seeking an experienced individual to perform analysis on complex regulatory matters that have a significant impact on multi-billion dollar energy utilities, energy consumers, and other stakeholders. The UTC was awarded funding from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009 to enhance the capability of the UTC to manage an increased and broadened scope of regulatory work resulting from Recovery Act policy initiatives. This position will enhance staffing capacity and technical expertise to facilitate timely consideration by the UTC of tarriff filings, accounting petitions, integrated resource plans, conservation plans, rulemakings, and other regulatory actions.
