Responsibilities The Manager, Corporate Communications is responsible for developing, planning, designing and managing major projects. These projects include but are not limited to the corporate annual report, corporate web and internet site redesign/maintenance, corporate social responsibility report, branding initiatives, corporate events, public relations collateral materials, and other communications materials and events. The Manager is also responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive program to increase participation on corporate political action committee, including event development and management. This involves managing outside design firms, public relations firms, printing and other vendors as needed. Reports To: VP, Corporate Communications and also to VP, Federal Affairs Qualifications Job Specifications: Knowledge: ¿ Possess a minimum of 8 years relevant communications / project management experience Skills/Abilities: ¿ Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritize, and execute through an entire project life-cycle ¿ Demonstrated ability to successfully manage a staff and effectively manage competing priorities ¿ Excellent oral and written communications skills and the ability to speak with authority and knowledge ¿ Ability to influence, educate, and inform employees at all levels ¿ Demonstrated ability to marshal resources across a diverse organization in order to accomplish goals Education/Experience: ¿ Bachelor¿s degree in a related discipline, or equivalent high-performance experience ¿ Experience in managing communications projects in a corporate, agency, or consulting environment ¿ Prior supervisory role in a communications function Physical requirements, working conditions, and other factors to consider: ¿ Occasional planned and unplanned overnight travel for company business or professional development ¿ Planned and unplanned overtime when required by work schedules and workloads ¿ Participates in 24-hour on-call schedule that also requires presence at and reaction to emergency situations ¿ May perform other duties as assigned EEO & Employment Eligibility Equal Employment Opportunity Constellation Energy and its member companies do not discriminate in employment with regard to age, citizenship, color, disability, marital status, national origin or ancestry, race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, veteran status, union affiliation, or any other basis prohibited by applicable federal, state, or local laws.
