Florida Municipal Power Agency (FMPA) is a nonprofit, joint action agency formed by 29 municipal electric utilities. FMPA is a public agency based in Orlando, whose primary purpose is to develop competitive power supply projects and related services. The members of FMPA serve approximately 1.7 million Floridians. FMPA supplied all the power needs for 13 of its members and some of the power needs for seven of its members. Some members do not currently purchase power from FMPA.
